Privacy Policy
1. What this extension does
Table to Shopify CSV reads the HTML table on the page you are looking at, expands merged cells (rowspan / colspan) into complete rows, maps the columns to Shopify product fields, and generates a CSV or XLSX file that you save to your own computer. All of this happens locally, in the tab you explicitly act on.
2. Data we collect
None. Specifically:
- We do not collect personal information, browsing history, or page content.
- We do not use cookies, fingerprints, or device identifiers.
- We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
- We do not sell or share data with anyone, because we never receive any.
3. Data we transmit
None. The extension contains no network code. It cannot send data anywhere,
even if it wanted to. You can verify this: the packaged extension declares no
host_permissions and contains no remote scripts. The Chrome Web Store
"Privacy practices" tab for this extension states the same.
4. Permissions and why each one is needed

The extension requests no host permissions, no tabs,
no webRequest, and no cookies access.
5. What is stored on your device
Two small items, both in chrome.storage.local, readable only by this extension:
- Column mappings — which of your table's columns map to which Shopify field, keyed by the table's header text. Used to pre-fill the mapping next time.
- License state — the license token you pasted, its email, and a validity flag. The token is a signed string; verification happens offline using a public key bundled in the extension.
Uninstalling the extension deletes both.
6. Payments and licenses
Pro licenses are sold through Gumroad. When you buy, Gumroad processes the payment and handles your email address under Gumroad's privacy policy. We receive only the order notification needed to issue your license key. The extension itself never contacts Gumroad or any payment provider — activation is a purely local signature check.
7. Children's privacy
The extension is a productivity tool for merchants and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
If a future version ever changes what the extension does with data (for example, adding an optional cloud feature), this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be called out in the extension's release notes. The current promise — no collection, no transmission — applies to the versions listed below.
